Russia Bans Import Of Deer Antlers From Belarus

Russia has blocked the import of around 800 kilograms of deer and elk antlers transported from Belarus, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) reported.

The vehicle carrying the antlers was stopped in Russia’s Smolensk Region on March 24. Officials found that the shipment was being transported without veterinary accompanying documents. The goods were not allowed to enter the country.
