Number Of Employed In Belarusian Economy Rises By 8,400 In February

Belstat reports that 4,171,200 people were employed in the Belarusian economy in February 2026.

In February, employment in the Belarusian economy reached 4.1712 million people, an increase of 8,400 compared to January. At the beginning of the year, the number of employed had been declining.

A year earlier, in February, employment also increased. Over the year, the number of employed in the economy rose by 30,200 people.

However, compared to December 2019, employment has decreased by 163,800 people. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed in the economy.
