Russia Attacked a Border Crossing Between Ukraine and Romania

Russia continued its missile and drone strikes on Ukraine overnight.

Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service said the Orlivka border crossing on the border with Romania was attacked. Buildings at the checkpoint were damaged, and the crossing is temporarily not operating. Orlivka has been targeted in raids before.

In recent days, Russia has also carried out several strikes on Ukrainian border crossings on the border with Moldova.

During today’s attack on Kyiv, logistics infrastructure facilities in the Ukrainian capital were also targeted. A ballistic missile struck a depot operated by Ukrzaliznytsia, as well as other facilities. Seven people were killed in the strike, six of them railway workers. Another person was injured. A workshop near the depot was completely destroyed.

Another target of the attack was Boryspil. A five-story residential building in the city was damaged, and eight people are known to have been injured, including a child. In addition, a facility in Boryspil was damaged, where one person was killed.
