Rosselkhoznadzor Raises Concerns About Servolux and Savushkin Product

Rosselkhoznadzor has introduced an enhanced laboratory control regime for products from the Belarusian companies Smalevichi Moloko and Savushkin Product. The Russian agency announced this today.

“Rosselkhoznadzor has introduced an enhanced laboratory control regime for products from Smalevichi Moloko and Savushkin Product, which are part of the Belarusian Servolux and Santa groups of companies, due to the detection of residual albendazole sulfone in cottage cheese.

The results were confirmed during monitoring studies of Belarusian dairy products entering the Russian market.

For all identified cases, notifications were sent to the Belarusian veterinary service requesting the necessary measures to prevent such violations in the future,” the agency said in a statement.

It is notable that Rosselkhoznadzor’s press service distributed the statement today, although according to the register of import restrictions, the enhanced laboratory control had already been introduced for these enterprises on April 7.

At the same time, another 13 enterprises received the same status, including major dairy producers as well as poultry enterprises belonging to the Servolux group.
