Radio Svaboda Logo And Viačorka’s Account Added To “Extremist Materials” List

The Information Ministry has expanded its list of “extremist materials”. It now includes the “logo (watermark) ‘Radyjo Svaboda – Belarus’ — an image of a white torch on an orange background”. The decision to designate the logo as extremist information material was made by the Zheleznodorozhny district court of Vitsyebsk on April 15.

Also added to the list by a decision of the Hlusk district court is a Facebook account belonging to philologist Vincuk Viačorka, a former leader of the Belarusian Popular Front and father of Franak Viačorka.

The list also includes:

  • Facebook communities “Zvychainy Belarus”, “We Are for Belarus!”;
  • Instagram accounts “kratko_belarus”, “fnb_minsk”, “antaninakanavalava”, “@bulauskiu”, “@lvs.language.school”, “Second Region of Belarus” (2thregionofbelarus), “ksmaliukova”, “roskvitkus”, “volny_univer”, “andrei_chapiuk2025”;
  • Threads accounts “free_belarus_lv”, “daroha”, “batumiby.ge”, “kiraboyarenko1927”;
  • the website (www.znivien.pl) and Facebook page “Znivien Belarusian merch Belarusian shop”;
  • Facebook accounts “Yury Hubarevich”, “Siarhei Kudzelich”, “Valery Vasiliev”, “Larbi Larbis”, “Insieme – ‘Together’”, “NIXTO”, “Białoruś po polsku”, “Fundacja ‘Za Wolność Waszą i Naszą’”;
  • a VKontakte page “Valery Vasiliev”;
  • a website titled “EUROPEAN PRAVDA” (www.eurointegration.com);
  • a website titled “ciclowiki.org” (ciclowiki.org);
  • YouTube channels “ZUKH Źmicer”, “Disident”;
  • TikTok accounts “@lvs.language.school”, “@see.soon13”, “RUSIK”;
  • a VKontakte group “NEXTA Live”;
  • Telegram stickers titled “Mellstroy” (120 items) with identifier @GetBuckNino, featuring blogger MELLSTROY;

It should be recalled that the Belarusian authorities use extremism-related charges to target political opponents and dissent more broadly.
