Prosecutors Inspect Farm in Kopyl District After Viral TikTok Video Showing Cows

Belarus’s Prosecutor General’s Office has reported the results of an inspection at the Uhly dairy farm in the Kopyl district of the Minsk region. The inspection was prompted by a TikTok video showing cattle being kept in unsanitary conditions. The video has since been removed.

Officials from the Kopyl District Prosecutor’s Office visited the farm and confirmed the reported violations. Following the inspection, an order was issued to the Kopyl District Executive Committee requiring the immediate elimination of the identified deficiencies.

During a follow-up inspection, prosecutors found that the main shortcomings had been addressed. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the livestock facilities had been cleaned up, and the animals had been provided with clean drinking water and feed.

The Prosecutor General’s Office said it would continue oversight measures both at the Uhly farm and at other agricultural enterprises in the region to prevent similar violations in the future.
