The Prosecutor’s Office of Minsk’s Zavodski District has identified prohibited goods on one of the marketplaces, including a board game, cold weapons and remotely controlled aircraft models.
According to the прокуратура, the board game’s plot contained a “simulation of political confrontation.” The game included “elements of fascist ideology and the process of the Nazi regime coming to power.”
“The popularization of such mechanisms and the adoption of fascist laws created a threat of forming in those involved a distorted perception of historical events, justification or minimization of the scale of atrocities committed by the Nazis, as well as the ‘heroization’ of their images,” the prosecutor’s office said.
More than 70 listings of the game were identified on the marketplace.
Knives classified as cold weapons, remotely controlled aircraft models and spare parts for drones were also found on sale.
An order was sent to the head of the trading platform demanding that the goods be removed from sale. The supervisory act was carried out in full.
