Prosecutor General’s Office to Send 7–10 Indictments to Court Next Year Under Genocide Case

The Prosecutor General’s Office will submit 7–10 criminal cases against deceased individuals to court next year. The statement was made by Prosecutor General Andrei Shved. This work is carried out within the framework of the investigation into the genocide case.

“Next year we plan no fewer than seven, perhaps ten criminal cases against specific executioners who did not bear punishment, including those who lived after the war and died on the territory of the FRG and other countries,” he said.

According to him, the Prosecutor General’s Office also does not abandon the idea of presenting material claims for the damage caused during the Second World War, which, Shved says, amounts to 2.3 trillion US dollars.
