Problem Road in Zhabinka District Repaired Following State Control Committee Intervention

Three problematic sections of the H-141 highway in Zhabinka District have been repaired following a local resident’s complaint to the State Control Committee.

The resident complained about the condition of the Arepichy–Stsiapanki–Sakalova–Sugar Plant road. The issue had been monitored by the State Control Committee since January 2025. During that period, three sections with a combined length of more than 2 km were asphalted in stages, the agency’s press service reported. In addition, following a complaint from a Brest resident, an uneven section of asphalt pavement on a sidewalk along Bobrova Street was repaired.

Since the beginning of 2026, the Brest Region State Control Committee has received a total of 459 complaints from citizens. Almost a quarter of them—102 complaints—concerned utility services and urban improvement, including road maintenance and repairs.
