Photo Fact: Ryzhankou Absent From Group Photo of Peace Council Participants in Washington

Media outlets have published the first group photos of participants in the inaugural meeting of the Peace Council in Washington on February 19, 2026. As reported earlier, despite having received an invitation, Alyaksandr Lukashenka declined to travel to the United States. The announced Belarusian foreign minister, Maksim Ryzhankou, is also absent from the photos.

As Radio Svaboda reported, citing official US sources, there will be no representatives of Belarus at the February 19 meeting at all.
