Permission to Use Foreign Currency for Transport Settlements Extended for Another Year

Permission to use foreign currency in settlements for transportation services has been extended for another year. The corresponding decision is set out in joint Resolution No. 824/29 of the Council of Ministers and the Board of the National Bank dated 31 December, published today on the National Legal Internet Portal. It entered into force on the day of adoption.

Throughout 2026, resident legal entities and resident individual entrepreneurs are allowed to use foreign currency in settlements with resident legal entities and resident individual entrepreneurs engaged in transport and forwarding activities, for the transportation and forwarding of cargo outside the country, from abroad, abroad, and during transit through Belarus. The Ministry of Transport has been authorised to issue clarifications on the application of this provision.
