The fifth New Belarus Conference opens in Warsaw on Aug. 8. The event can be followed online.
The program includes debates, project presentations, personnel appointments, an awards ceremony, and six thematic panel discussions.
Participants will discuss the “window of opportunity” for Belarus’ democratic forces, Belarusian-Ukrainian cooperation and prospects following the end of the war in Ukraine, political transition in Belarus and the country’s future after political change, countering transnational repression, education and the preservation of national identity, as well as support for Belarusians inside the country and abroad.
