Belstat has summarized the results of the tourism industry in 2025. Last year the agency recorded 3.5 million organized tourists and excursion participants. This figure includes both those who traveled from Belarus and those who visited the country.
According to Belstat, 1,255 organizations provided tourism and excursion services last year.
During the year, 2.2 million Belarusians took excursion trips within the country, of whom 93.8% went on one-day trips.
A total of 736,400 organized tourists traveled abroad from Belarus, while 579,200 foreign visitors arrived in the country on organized tours.
On average, Belarusians spent eight days abroad, while foreign visitors stayed in Belarus for only four days.
There were 664 hotels and similar accommodation facilities operating in the country, which served 2.7 million people, including 1.3 million citizens of Belarus.
A total of 503 sanatorium and health resort organizations and other specialized accommodation facilities provided services to 1.1 million people, including 867,300 citizens of the country.
Belarus had 1,441 agro-ecotourism entities. Their services were used by 472,500 people, of whom 449,500 were citizens of Belarus.
