Ministry of Transport to Optimise Bus Traffic at the Belarus–Poland Border

The Ministry of Transport and Communications has decided to optimise the movement of buses crossing the Belarusian–Polish border, according to the BAMAP association.

BAMAP received a letter from the ministry dated 27 November outlining a new procedure for the passage of buses operating regular international passenger services.

Under the updated rules:

• Until 15 December, carriers holding permits for the border checkpoints Bruzgi and Berastavitsa may use the checkpoints Brest and Berastavitsa .
• From 16 December onward, carriers with permits for Bruzgi and Berastavitsa will be allowed to cross the border only via Berastavitsa .
