Migrants Become Active Again on Borders of Poland and Latvia

Poland’s Border Guard and Latvia’s border services on Thursday, 20 November, again faced attempts by migrants to cross the border from Belarus.

Poland’s Border Guard reported that yesterday there were more than 10 attempts to cross the border. In the three preceding days, it had reported zero incidents.

Latvian border guards on Thursday prevented 16 attempts to violate the border. Before that, they had not encountered such attempts for two consecutive days.

Lithuania’s State Border Guard Service reported that no attempts to violate the border were registered on 20 November.
