A memorial composition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster is being installed in Homiel. The memorial will appear in Rescuers’ Square, the regional executive committee’s press service said.
The official opening is planned for April 26, the anniversary of the tragedy. The granite work was created by Rechytsa sculptor Siarhey Ramanyuk.
