Aliaksandr Lukashenka will meet Vladimir Putin on Saturday, Aug. 29. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this, Sputnik reports.
Lukashenka left for Russia on a working visit on the evening of Aug. 27. It was reported that the talks would focus on key areas of bilateral cooperation, regional and international issues, as well as security matters.
In addition, Lukashenka is due to meet Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. According to a statement from Lukashenka’s press service, the meeting is expected to focus on trade, economic and investment cooperation between Belarus and Russia, as well as the implementation of joint cooperation projects.
