Lukashenka’s Press Service Reports on Conversation With Putin

The press service of Alyaksandr Lukashenka has published a statement about yesterday’s conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Indeed, a telephone conversation between the heads of state took place the previous evening. The presidents additionally discussed issues that are planned to be considered at the upcoming meeting of the Supreme State Council.

As is known, it will take place next week in Moscow. Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin compared notes on the agenda of the forthcoming event and on the most pressing topics to be discussed both in an expanded format and one-on-one. The conversation also touched on a number of issues in Belarusian-Russian relations,” the statement said.

Earlier, information about the conversation had been released only by the Kremlin. It was reported that the discussion focused on preparations for the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, which is scheduled to take place next week in Moscow.
