A Boeing 767 with registration number EW-001PB took off from Moscow for Minsk at 10:36 p.m. Belarusian time on August 29, according to data from flightradar24.com. Aliaksandr Lukashenka was on board, his press service said.
“And for everyone following the political agenda on Saturday night: the First’s visit to Russia is over. These were two busy working days. The Pool wishes everyone a good night”, Lukashenko’s press service wrote in its characteristic style on the “Pool of the First” Telegram channel.
Thus, Lukashenko’s unexpected visit to Russia has ended.
Lukashenka traveled to Moscow on the evening of Thursday, August 27, setting off for talks with Putin and Mishustin. On Friday, he met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, and on Saturday he held an informal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Novo-Ogaryovo state residence outside Moscow.
