Lukashenka Calls Russia a Guarantor of a Just World Order

Aliaksandr Lukashenka has congratulated Vladimir Putin and other senior Russian officials on Russia Day, offering lavish praise for his ally in an official message.

“The Russian Federation is a forward-looking state confident in its strength, one of the world’s leading powers with a powerful economic and defence potential, and a guarantor of a just world order amid the ongoing global transformation,” the message said.

Lukashenka also stressed what he described as the longstanding unity of Belarusians and Russians.

“Belarusians have always walked hand in hand with Russians along a centuries-long heroic path. The memory of jointly overcoming challenges, as well as our common achievements and victories, is passed down from generation to generation. It is precisely the Belarusian-Russian friendship, tested over the years, that provides inexhaustible energy for the further harmonious development of our brotherly countries and peoples,” he added.

Lukashenka wished Putin good health and continued outstanding success.
