Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed Decree No. 296 approving the draft protocol on amendments and additions to the Charter of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of June 7, 2002.
“The document was developed to update the SCO Charter and bring it into line with the international legal framework and established practice,” Lukashenka’s press service reported.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft agreement.
