Lukashenka Appoints New Judges

Aliaksandr Lukashenka has signed a decree making a number of appointments within the judiciary.

The decree appoints several court chairpersons, deputy chairpersons, and judges to regional and district courts. Some judges have been reappointed for a new five-year term. Among them is Aleh Lapeka, who will continue serving as deputy chairperson of the Minsk Regional Court.

Fourteen judges have been appointed to the bench for the first time.
