The Kremlin sees no risk of fuel shortages resulting from attacks on oil refineries. This was stated today by Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
“No, the Kremlin does not see such risks,” he said.
In recent weeks, Ukraine’s Armed Forces have carried out a series of strikes on Russian oil refineries. For example, a refinery in Syzran was hit today.
“Indeed, production may decline in certain areas. This is also connected with seasonal maintenance work. But overall, the fuel balance has been calculated and has the necessary compensation mechanisms. Our Ministry of Energy, as always, keeps this issue under constant control,” he added.
