Information on Ukrainian children who were unlawfully transferred from temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to Belarus, as well as on the indoctrination carried out in relation to them, has been handed over to Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War. This was reported by the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus.
The materials were transferred following a working visit to Kyiv by Pavel Latushka, Head of the National Anti-Crisis Management and Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet, and his meeting with the leadership of the Ukrainian headquarters. The information was collected by the National Anti-Crisis Management team as part of efforts to hold representatives of the regime of Aliaksandr Lukashenka accountable for the deportation of Ukrainian children and their subsequent indoctrination in Belarus. The materials were provided at the request of the Ukrainian side for further work on returning the children to their homeland.
At the same time, the National Anti-Crisis Management and the Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters are preparing a joint project based on the Stop Russian Recruiting information platform. The initiative is aimed at countering the recruitment of Belarusian citizens into the Russian armed forces.
