Industry Telegram channels are reporting searches at the offices of Royal Partners, a company associated with affiliate programmes for online casinos. There has been no official confirmation so far.
A search took place in at least one of the company’s offices in Minsk early this morning. Employees were detained and equipment was seized.
“So, about the news… Managers who worked remotely today are responding but are not commenting. Everyone is under NDA, nobody is saying anything. But it has been confirmed that masked officers were at one of their offices early this morning. Nobody is naming the reasons, there are only assumptions. We need to wait until tomorrow when things become clearer. The only thing I know is that almost everyone who was detained has already been released and allowed to go home. The equipment was taken away”, the channel “Money Beats Evil!” wrote.
The channel’s author claims there is no information on whether payments under affiliate programmes will continue.
“What will happen with payments and further operations is unknown, but the mood does not seem entirely pessimistic. Perhaps Russian GEO traffic will be banned, but that is just my assumption — maybe something more serious. A local contact went to one of their offices in Minsk, but it is quiet there. Now he is heading to another office where the search took place to see what is happening on site. In any case, there will be consequences, but what they will be and for whom is still unclear. If there is more news, I will report it promptly”, the channel added.
According to preliminary information from Reform.news sources, the company’s problems arose because of cross-border cryptocurrency payments “from Russia and Belarus to the civilised world”.
Royal Partners is an iGaming/affiliate programme and a direct advertiser of casino offers. The company has operated since 2017 and promotes its own online casino brands (IZZI, ROX, FRESH, SOL, JET, STARDA, LEGZO and others). It uses CPA, RevShare and Hybrid models. According to various directories and reviews, it has between 15 and more than 20 in-house offers.
The company (Maxbitsolution) has an active presence in the Belarusian affiliate market and participates in meetups and conferences in Minsk. Within the affiliate community, Royal Partners is often associated with the Belarusian iGaming ecosystem and traffic arbitrage teams. Many of the company’s employees and recruiters are based in Belarus. On LinkedIn, the company lists its headquarters as being in Curaçao rather than Belarus.
