Industrial Inventories In Belarus Decline In August

Industrial inventories in Belarus continued to decline. According to Belstat, they stood at 11.025 billion rubles as of September 1. Compared with August 1, inventories decreased by 382.87 million rubles.

Inventories declined in all regions and in Minsk. In Minsk, they fell by 118.7 million rubles to 2.28 billion rubles.

The largest inventories were recorded in the Minsk region, where they amounted to 2.55 billion rubles, down 88.4 million rubles.

Only in the Mahiliou region did inventories of products on warehouses remain below 1 billion rubles, at 979.7 million rubles.

The inventory level fell by 3.2 percentage points in August to 75.9% of the average monthly production volume. A year earlier, the inventory level was 4.6 percentage points higher and exceeded 80%.
