The House of Representatives has adopted the draft national budget for 2026 in the second reading.
According to the chamber’s press service, budget revenues are planned at 54.38 billion rubles, which is 12.4% higher than the projected receipts for this year. Expenditures are set at 58.73 billion rubles, or 10.4% more than the expected execution for 2025. The budget deficit is projected at just under 4.35 billion rubles.
Alongside the national budget, the House of Representatives also adopted amendments to the Tax Code in the second reading.
Both bills will now be sent to the Council of the Republic.
