Government Updates Procedure For Centralized Testing

The Council of Ministers of Belarus has adopted a resolution clarifying the procedure for conducting centralized testing. According to the government’s press service, the document incorporates proposals from the state commission overseeing the preparation and conduct of the 2025 university admissions campaign.

The resolution sets out requirements for testing centers to create conditions for applicants with special individual needs. This includes the possibility of using specialized devices, including mobile communication devices with software designed to monitor health conditions. It also предусматривает providing applicants with musculoskeletal disorders with special seating in examination rooms so they can take the centralized testing in accordance with their needs. Applicants requiring special conditions will have to present a medical certificate on their health status during registration and when taking the test, and indicate the necessary special conditions in their application.

The resolution also clarifies the list of restrictions for applicants during centralized testing. In particular, it prohibits removing written notes or records on any medium from the examination room or the testing center. In addition, the document specifies the requirements for calculators that may be used when completing exam papers in the subjects “Chemistry” and “Physics”.
