Government Extends Permits for Russian Media Bureau Offices

The Belarusian Council of Ministers has extended permits for the operation of bureau offices of Russian media outlets for another two years through Resolution No. 268 of May 28. The document was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Under the resolution, the validity of certificates authorizing the opening of bureau offices has been extended:

• for JSC Channel One until May 30, 2028,
• for the Russian News Agency TASS until May 31, 2028,
• for the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company until July 22, 2028.
