A business jet with registration number EW-301PJ departed Minsk late yesterday evening and has just landed in Muscat, the capital of Oman. This is according to data from the airnavradar.com service. It is not yet known who is on board.
The aircraft formally belongs to the Belarusian government, but officials rarely use it. As a rule, the jet is used by one of Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s sons or people close to him.
There is currently a war in the region, and the aircraft was forced to avoid combat zones by flying through Russia, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
