Government Approves Procedure for Monitoring Compliance With Military Transport Obligations

The Council of Ministers, by Resolution No. 249 dated May 15, approved the Regulation on the Procedure for Monitoring Compliance with Military Transport Obligations. The document was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Monitoring will be carried out at supplier organisations and formation organisations. The former are required to provide vehicles during mobilisation in wartime, while the latter must form military-type vehicle columns.

Monitoring will be conducted by:

  • state authorities — in subordinate supplier organisations at least once every five years;
  • the Ministry of Defence — in formation organisations once a year;
  • district military commissariats — in supplier organisations annually, except for those being inspected by state authorities during the same year.

During monitoring activities, documentation will be reviewed, along with the technical condition of vehicles, the availability of spare parts and other factors. Inspectors will issue conclusions regarding the readiness of vehicles to be provided to the armed forces.
