The Council of Ministers has amended the Prypiatskaje Palesse Development Programme for 2025–2030 through Resolution No. 362 of July 10. The document was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.
The programme has been supplemented with an extensive list of officials who bear personal responsibility for the effective implementation of measures to develop the districts of Prypiatskaje Palesse. The list includes:
Notably, the original resolution approving the programme did not include a clause on personal responsibility, which is a relatively rare case in Belarusian administrative practice.
At the same time, the government revised the programme’s funding. Total financing has been reduced by 253.2 million Belarusian roubles to 5.43 billion Belarusian roubles, including a cut of 253.2 million Belarusian roubles, to 3.12 billion Belarusian roubles, for measures aimed at creating a high-quality regional economy and improving citizens’ well-being.
Funding for measures to restore and expand industrial capacity has been reduced by 468.9 million Belarusian roubles to 1.225 billion Belarusian roubles, while allocations for the agro-industrial sector have been increased by 125 million Belarusian roubles to 1.385 billion Belarusian roubles.
The Prypiatskaje Palesse Development Programme was adopted at the end of 2024. Its funding was expected to be adjusted after the approval of Belarus’ Socio-Economic Development Programme for 2026–2030.
