Forecasters Issue Orange Weather Warning Over Heat

Hot weather is expected to settle in southern Belarus in the coming days. Forecasters have issued an orange weather warning.

“Today, July 14 (Tuesday), between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., maximum air temperatures will reach +30°C in many districts of the Brest region. During the day on July 15 (Wednesday), maximum air temperatures will reach +30°C to +31°C in the south of the country”, the warning said.

According to the Belhydromet forecast, temperatures above 30°C are expected to persist in the following days.
