The first Belarusian electric-powered leisure boat has been launched in the Brest region and undergone its initial trials, the regional executive committee said. The vessel is powered by an electric motor.
In January, Brest Regional Executive Committee Chairman Piotr Parkhomchyk visited the MAZ-MAN joint venture. At the time, it was reported that work on Belarus’ first catamaran was nearing completion and that the prototype would undergo trials on rivers in the Brest region. If the tests proved successful, serial production was to be launched at the Pinsk Shipyard.
