A fire occurred at the Naftan oil refinery. It has already been contained.
“Emergency Ministry units are responding to a report of a diesel fuel ignition at a technological installation at the 20-meter mark on the premises of OAO Naftan in Novopolatsk,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. Seventeen vehicles and more than 70 rescuers are working at the scene.
The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
