Fire Alarm Activated in Bobruisk Dormitory After Woman Accidentally Sets Her Hair on Fire

A fire alarm was triggered on the evening of September 29 at a dormitory on 50 Years of the Komsomol Street in Bobruisk. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the fire was caused by careless smoking.

It was established that a tenant of one of the rooms was smoking in the block’s restroom. While lighting her cigarette, she accidentally set her own hair on fire.

The woman extinguished the flames herself before rescuers arrived, but suffered burns. She was hospitalized.

The dormitory residents were not evacuated.
