The Council of Ministers has adopted Resolution No. 562 of November 2 to support the sale of compound feed produced by the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation (BNBC), a closed joint-stock company. The document was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and enters into force upon publication.

Under the resolution, agricultural producers purchasing feed from BNBC will be eligible for compensation for delivery costs. Part of the expenses incurred for transportation using both their own and third-party vehicles will be reimbursed. Compensation will be paid subject to two conditions:

  • the compound feed was transported by road over a distance of more than 100 km from BNBC;
  • the feed purchaser has no overdue debts to BNBC for compound feed.

The compensation will amount to 2.5 basic units per 1,000 tonne-kilometres for distances exceeding 100 km, but will not exceed the actual costs incurred.

No compensation will be paid if the compound feed has been fully or partially paid for using funds from the national or local budgets.

To receive compensation, agricultural producers will have to submit an application for subsidies to local authorities, along with documents confirming their expenses and a calculation of the compensation amount.

The funds will be transferred to the recipient’s designated bank account.
