The European Gymnastics federation is lifting all restrictions on the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in competitions. The decision was made on May 21 during an extraordinary online meeting of the organization’s executive committee following a similar decision by the International Gymnastics Federation on May 18, which abolished special rules concerning athletes from Russia and Belarus.
The decision will be ratified at an extraordinary online assembly to be held in the near future, the federation said.
