On Saturday, March 14, in the afternoon near the settlement of Rassvet in the Dobrush District, an unidentified drone fell, the outlet Flagstok reports.
Police arrived at the scene and blocked traffic on the Homiel–Novazybkau highway until a demining team arrived. Before the drone was removed, a long line of cars formed on the road, and the operation of a Belorusneft gas station was also suspended, where a queue of vehicles had gathered, the publication says.
The drone was later removed and traffic resumed.
“Around 15:30 and 16:00 residents of Dobrush heard what sounded like separate explosions. It is likely that sappers detonated the drone not far from the city,” Flagstok adds.
Authorities have not officially reported the discovery of the drone. Its origin also remains unknown.
