Another drone has crashed in Romania. According to the country’s Ministry of National Defence, a report of the crash was received at around 5 a.m. The drone is believed to have fallen near the settlement of Plauru. A fire broke out at the crash site.

The fire was extinguished by crews from the civilian and military emergency services. No one was injured, and there was no material damage. The crash site has been cordoned off. Military personnel will conduct an inspection.

The ministry also noted that radar surveillance systems had not detected any airspace violations overnight. At the same time, radars recorded drone attacks overnight targeting civilian infrastructure in Ukraine’s border region.

The Romanian settlement of Plauru is located on the right bank of the Danube, directly opposite the port of Izmail in Ukraine.
