Heavy rain flooded three properties and three residential homes on Lepyashynskaha and Paleskaya streets in Homiel. Water rose above floor level. Rescuers pumped out the water using motor pumps.
In addition, Emergency Ministry workers towed a stranded ambulance on Pryharodnaya Street.
No injuries were reported. Essential services for residents were not disrupted. A total of five Emergency Ministry vehicles and 16 rescuers were involved in dealing with the effects of the severe weather, the ministry’s press service said.
