Democratic Forces Representatives to Attend Ceremony Honoring 1863–1864 Uprising at Nawrocki’s Invitation

Representatives of Belarusian democratic forces will take part in a ceremony commemorating the participants of the 1863–1864 uprising, which will be held today in Warsaw. The event is timed to the 163rd anniversary of the outbreak of the uprising and will take place at Brama Straceń at the Warsaw Citadel.

According to the press service of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, at the invitation of the Chancellery of Polish President Karol Nawrocki, the ceremony will be attended by the head of the Cabinet Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, her deputy Pavel Latushka, Coordination Council Speaker Artsiom Brukhan, as well as a veteran of the The Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment.

Polish President Karol Nawrocki and his wife Marta Nawrocka, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda and his wife Diana Nausėdienė, as well as Ukraine’s Ambassador to Poland Vasiliy Bodnar, are also expected to take part in the wreath-laying ceremony.
