Demchenko: Belarus Periodically Activates Repeaters for Russian Drones

Repeaters for Russian drones are periodically activated in Belarus. Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, said this during a broadcast on Den.LIVE on September 29.

“Russia’s strikes on our western regions show that repeaters on the territory of Belarus continue to operate or are periodically switched on to boost the signal for Russian drones”, Demchenko said.

He also noted that no concentrations of troops or movements of military equipment are currently being detected along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border.

Earlier, the Ukrainian monitoring channel “єРадар” reported detecting four repeaters in Belarus that were used for communications with and control of Russian jet-powered drones. According to the channel, the repeaters are located near Khoiniki, Dzerbinki, Makhnovichi and Buda-Safiyivka.
