The Defence Ministry will hold training exercises with reservists of the territorial defence troops from Sept. 1 to 25 in four administrative areas.
The exercises are being held in:
- Homiel,
- Zavadski District of Minsk,
- Sviatlahorsk District,
- Aktsyabrski district.
The exercises are being led by chairmen of executive committees.
“The main efforts during the exercises will focus on improving the skills of officials of local executive and administrative bodies in forming military units and subunits of the territorial defence troops, while reservists will focus on carrying out their designated tasks”, the ministry said.
The results of the exercises will be assessed during a command-and-staff exercise in Homiel Region and a tactical exercise in Minsk.
