Officers of the operational customs service have found Chinese and European goods that were imported into Belarus using invalid documents. Computer equipment, televisions, lawn mowers, printers, headphones, and other items were stored in residential premises, offices, and warehouses in Minsk and the Minsk District.
The forged documents listed Belarusian recipients who either did not expect such deliveries or were non-existent entities.
The value of the goods exceeds 1 million rubles, the State Customs Committee reported.
Customs identified two violators — a Belarusian carrier and a business entity. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against them under Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code (“Violation of the procedure for acquiring, storing, using in production, transporting, dispensing, and selling goods”). Other individuals involved in the violations are being identified.
