Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin has announced that it will stop serving customers in Belarus and Russia. The restrictions take effect immediately, according to a press release issued by the exchange on October 29.
“In line with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, KuCoin will discontinue services for users in Russia and Belarus effective immediately. This will comprehensively cover access to all KuCoin products, services, and features.
We recognise this may cause inconvenience to affected users, and we are committed to an orderly termination process that allows affected users to close positions and withdraw their assets,” the announcement says.
Affected users will receive notifications with instructions.
