Cryptocurrency exchange MEXC has announced that it will stop serving users in Belarus and Russia “as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance global compliance.”
Affected customers will receive individual notifications outlining the deadlines and procedures for closing positions and withdrawing assets, the exchange said in a statement. Users are advised to contact customer support with questions about their account status and withdrawal procedures.
MEXC clarified that the changes will not affect all users. Customers who have not received a notification will not be subject to the new restrictions and may continue using the platform in accordance with its terms of service.
