Coordination Council Votes to Establish Three Commissions

The Coordination Council has voted to establish three commissions. The decisions were supported by a majority of the Council’s delegates.

As a result, the Coordination Council will have:

• an International Commission;
• a Commission on Reforms and Transitional Period Preparation, chaired by Yury Hubarevich (the “Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement”), with Aliaksandr Rakitski (“Stop Being Afraid!”) serving as deputy chair;
• an Ethics Commission, chaired by Ales Mikhalevich (the “Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement”), with Aliaksandra Doinich (“Nastup”) serving as deputy chair.

The leadership of the International Commission will be elected in a second round.
