Command-and-Staff Exercises to Be Held in Hrodna Region

A command-and-staff exercise is taking place in the Lida district of the Hrodna region from May 24 to 26 under the leadership of the deputy chairman of the Hrodna Regional Executive Committee. As the Belarusian Defense Ministry stated, the maneuvers are part of a planned training assembly for the district’s territorial troops.

The exercises involve reservists called up from the reserve, Interior Ministry personnel, and volunteers from the people’s militia. Among the stated objectives are practicing officers’ skills in managing territorial defense forces and training personnel in coordinated operations.

Special attention will be paid to cooperation between territorial troops, internal troops units, and territorial Interior Ministry bodies, as well as protecting personnel and facilities from drones.
