During the visit of the governor of Russia’s Chukotka Autonomous Okrug to Minsk, Alyaksandr Lukashenka received an offer to take part in the development of gold deposits on the peninsula.
“We showed and discussed a map of available plots from the undistributed subsoil reserve fund that could be of interest to Belarusian companies for development. The map was handed over to Alyaksandr Hryhorievich, and we hope there will be a response,” said Deputy Governor and Head of the Economy and Investment Department of Russia’s Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Anton Yaremchuk, Belarus-1 reported.
The television channel уточнил that the proposal concerned gold mines.
The governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Vladislav Kuznetsov, visited Minsk a week ago.
